Характеристика персонажа

Эспио — детектив из агентства Chaotix, ниндзя. Характер спокойный, хладнокровный. Молчалив, рассудителен, очень ценит свою свободу. Часто критикует Майти, выводя его из себя. Эспио ненавидит Эггмана по непонятным причинам. Эспио — символ команды Хаотикс. Будучи хамелеоном может изменять цвет, чтобы замаскироваться. В комиксах Арчи он, как и другие Хаотиксы, друг Наклза. В комиксах Арчи известна причина, почему Эспио так ненавидит Эггмана — тот роботизировал его кузена Валдеза.

Появлялся в играх: Knuckles Chaotix, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Rivals 2 а также в аниме Sonic X и комиксах о Сонике фирмы Archie Comics.
